Vishuddhi, the Sanskrit term denotes purification. Thus Vishuddhi Chakra means the center that purifies all the negatives present in the body. It is the primary sattvic charka and is located in the throat region. It is also called as ‘the center of nectar’ because it is the place where the good and bad, i.e. the nectar and poison get stored.
